Overnight Rains Cause Local Flooding

We had some pretty good storms last night near downtown Murphy! Was awoken around 3:15 a.m. to the house shaking from thunder! It was a doozy! More lightning and thunder during the night, and another one shook the house again around 6:00 a.m. Rained throughout the morning, but has finally subsided some. More rain is expected today, tonight, and into tomorrow. Forecast is that Saturday we will get a break before it rains again for several more days. Went for a drive this morning and took some videos and some pics of localized flooding. There's even a pic of a waterfall that happens only when we get a good amount of rain. It's on Highway 64 (river road) when heading from downtown towards the hospital. Enjoy!
