National Day of Puppetry is celebrated on Saturday, April 28. This holiday leads into our wonderful week of puppet construction with David Stephens.

As the May 22 National Maritime Day recognizes the maritime industry's importance, Rich Williams leads the timely Beginning Scrimshaw – Art of the Whalers class during that week.

Spend the 4 th of July hammering at the anvil with Jerry Darnell. You'll craft historically styled lights reminiscent of early American colonists' creations.

Come explore the world of ghosts, spirits, and the unexplained during Halloween week. In Dianne Hackworth's writing class, you'll learn to tell spell-binding ghost stories.

At the Folk School, our Christmas season is filled with holiday cheer. During our Holiday in the Mountains themed week, learn to design, bake, build, and decorate a charming classic gingerbread house in Jodi Rhoden's baking class.
